Born & bred in Mid-Wales Chris Carter's passion for food began at the age of 13 when he worked as a pot-washer in his local pub. After working as a commis chef at the Metropole for 8 months he moved onto 2nd chef at The Glen Usk before taking a head chef role. His achievements and success took him all over the country, working in London and Belfast & finally back home again. Chris' passion for food is evident in the taste and presentation of his dishes. We are thrilled to have him as part of our team. He has just launched a brand new menu and hopes our customers old and new enjoy what he has to offer!
