We at the Glyn Clydach recently received a letter from Neath Port Talbot Council, outlining our responsibility to comply with the new post firebreak rules for the Hospitality sector.
Rule of 4
4 people may attend together at our premises and can be from different households, as long as physical distancing is maintained.
Time limits and identification
Entry should include pre-booking wherever possible with details of all members of the group taken as part of the booking and verified on arrival. Customers must also be given a limited time period during which they may stay at the premises.
Closing times
All premises that sell or supply alcohol for consumption on the premises must stop selling alcohol by 10pm at the latest. Premises are also required to close to the public at 10.20pm at the latest.
Table service only
All premises that sell alcohol for consumption on the premises must ensure that customers are served seated at a table. Customers must order, consume, and pay for the food at that table; there can be no standing or sitting at the bar area.
Face coverings
It is a requirement that face coverings are worn by all staff and customers (aged 11 and over) whilst they are in the premises, any time they are not seated at a table.
We are proud to be doing all we can to keep our staff and our customers safe
TEMPORARY CLOSURE NOTICE
It was with great disappointment that due to the current restrictions placed on us by the Government, we have made the decision to close The Glyn Clydach and The Loft Restaurant at 6pm on Saturday the 5th December 2020, until Tuesday February 2nd, 2021.
We have been happy to accommodate the constant Government changes and restrictions over these past 9 months, in order to keep our customers and our staff safe, but these latest changes are not sustainable for us and we have had to make this unpleasant decision.
We would like to thank all of our customers for their continued support, through such a difficult few months, we appreciate your business very much and we look forward to seeing you all again in February.
We would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank our loyal staff for all their hard work, their job hasn’t been easy, and they have been absolutely brilliant throughout this year.
Just leaves us to say, that we wish you and your families a happy and healthy Christmas, and an improved and safe 2021. We will be back!
